This page is dedicated to the former players who played under the Brett Dyke Era and went on to play in a college athletics for their entire college careers. Theses individuals represented Jenison with PRIDE after their basketball careers were completed at Jenison.
Pete Trammell
Pete played for Jenison from 2000-2004. His senior year he helped lead the basketball team to it first-ever Regional title. He played at Grand Valley State University from 2004-2009. Now he currently plays in Findland for Uusimaa Jaruenpaa in the European Professional League. In high school he was on the Grand Rapids Press Dream Team, was a 3x All OK Conference player, a 3x All area performer, and was an All State honoree.
Tony Clausen
Tony played for Jenison from 2000-2004, and also helped guide the team during his senior year to the Regional title. He played baseball at Michigan State University from 2004-2008. Tony was also awarded All Conference Honorable Mention his senior year.
Ty Tanis
Ty Tanis played for Jenison from 2003-2007, and was on the team that won the Regional title and also won two conference championships and two district titles. Ty currently plays for Hope College. Ty is also the only Jenison player to play for Coach Dyke to earn All Conference Honors all 4 years he played. Ty also won All State players honors for 2 years, All Area player honors for 3 years, and was elected to the Grand Rapids Press Dream Team in 2006.
Wes Trammell
Wes Trammell, younger brother of Pete, played for Jenison from 2004-2008. He was on 2 district title teams and 2 conference title teams while playing for the Wildcats. He currently is in his senior year playing for Grand Valley State University. While at Jenison, he was named to the Grand Rapids Press Dream Team in both his Junior and Senior year. He was a First Team All State winner and was a 3x All Conference player of the year for basketball. He was also elected to the Grand Rapids Press Dream Team in 2007 and 2008 along with All Area honors in 2006 and 2007.
Mike Vaughan
Mike Vaughan, younger brother of Danny Vaughan, played for Jenison from 2003-2007. He was on two conference championship teams and one district title team. He currently his in his senior season at Aquinas College playing soccer. Mike also was a All Conference Honorable Mention and All Area Honorable Mention during his senior year.
Tony Nelson
Tony Nelson, younger brother of Derek Nelson, played for Jenison from 2005-2009. He was on one district title team in 2008. He currently plays for Hillsdale College. He was a 2 time All Conference player and was in the top 10 in the state of Michigan in 3 point percentage his Junior year. Tony was also All Area and All State Honorable Mention during his senior year.
Sean Melinn
Sean Melinn played for Jenison from 2005-2009. He also helped guide the Wildcats to the district title in 2008. He currently plays for Adrian College on their football team.
Patrick Woolpert
Pat played for Jenison from 1999-2003. He has gone on to play for Hope College (2003-2007) and has played Semi-Professional basketball for the Holland Blast. Pat also gained All Conference Honorable Mention during his senior year.
Danny Vaughan
Danny played for Jenison from 2001-2005. He went on to play golf at GVSU. Danny was one of the top free throw percentage shooters in the state of Michigan his Senior year at Jenison. Danny was also a All Conference Honorable Mention during his senior year.
Jason Pretzer
Jason played for Jenison from 2007-2011. He attends Hillsdale College to play basketball. Jason was named to the All Area team for the Advance and was Honorable Mention for All area for GR Press and All state for the Detroit Free Press. He was also named to the 10-11 All Conference Team for the OK Red.
2002-2003 Senior Class
